I have the privilege of being invited to certain events that I get to learn more about how to take better care of myself, my skin, my hair, and my family.
Lots of times, I get to go home with these new experiences and new products to try, and if I’m lucky, I get to share with my daughter some of this loot too.
Here are five items you can give any of your girlfriends who love to primp and pamper:
Taking care of your nails just doesn’t mean going for your month manicure and pedicure. Taking care of your nails also means treating them to delicious moisturizers and masks.
If you have a girlfriend who constantly blow dries and flat irons her hair, you need to gift her at least one of these hair remedies. I always use Smooth Infusion when I take out my flat iron. It keeps the “fly aways” at bay and gives my hair a shinier lustre. Plus, with all that heat, I know I struggle with split ends. I use both of these hair treatments and love them. I’m sure your best girl will love them too.
There are many things I pray for. Continued good health is one of them. By giving the gift of good health, you know you are making sure your friendship will stand the test of time. Plus, your friend will reap the benefits of Omega 3’s as well.
Omega 3 supplements are good for:
-fighting depression and anxiety
-can improve eye health
-can promote brain health during pregnancy and early life
-can improve risk factors for heart disease
-can fight age related mental decline
-can reduce asthma in children
And these are just a few of the benefits! Actually, this is also a gift you can give yourself by starting the New Year with supplements and a better take on your own health too!
I was invited to the launch of the Eye of Horus newest addition to their Bio Vegan Beauty Line. I was so excited to learn that they have a whole new line of Bio Vegan Lippies which any of your friends who enjoy make up and live a vegan lifestyle would enjoy. Will tell you more about this new lippie in another post, but you can purchase any of these products, here in the Philippines, only through Glamourboxph. I love the mascara, and I super love the eyeliners. (both pencil and liquid)
Laya Living is the off shoot of my friend’s business So True Naturals. I met Mia quite a few years ago, and I have always appreciated the fact that her business grew out of the love for her children and their sensitive skin issues. Now, she offers a more luxurious line for those who enjoy all natural castille soaps and soy candles for the discerning user. The soaps are so special, your friend might just not use them right away. I think they are perfect for the bath, and because they are so gentle on the skin, you won’t run the risk of any irritations, either.
When I shop for Christmas gifts they usually run in two categories. I like to give homemade gifts to the families. These are usually things I like to bake or prepare in my home so that the families that are dearest to us can enjoy them together. Be it cookies, or cake, or sometimes even apple pie, I feel like giving these families who we spend lots of time together with, they know that we are grateful for them during this season of thanks.
The other category are usually for my closest girlfriends and even my sisters. Remember, we have sisters by blood and then we have our sisters that we choose to go through life with who have our back, listen to our woes, and sometimes even just let loose with when we need to let off some steam.
These five gifts are sure to make ANY of my sisters happy.
