You know what?
Mother’s Month is way better than my birthday month.
Just last month, I was treated to a bunch of experiences and gifts that made me feel uber special.

Meeting Maika through the Fox Life League of Extraordinary Moms was definitely a highlight for me in the month of May.
But my favorite of all of these treats was the Sunday we spent in Enchanted Kingdom for their #EKMoms Event.
I think the last time we went to Enchanted Kingdom was about two years ago. One thing is for sure, that last time that we took the kids to our favorite theme park here in the Philippines, Nino and I both realized that we were getting old.
I think that was the very last time we both would rode a roller coaster. Yes. It’s true. We are that old na.
Instead, we will let the kids ride all the rides. Nino will choose which rides to accompany the children on, and I will patiently sit outside on one of the warm benches happily posting on Instagram or surfing Facebook while I wait.
So for this post, I would like to enumerate 5 reasons why #ILoveEK for you:
It’s a 20-30 minute drive from the metro.
Now, Nino and I don’t mind piling the kids in the car for a long road trip every now and then. In fact, Nino really enjoys the driving part of going somewhere. I think all of our kids do. We are comfortable in the car. BUT Enchanted Kingdom is so close that Gelli doesn’t even fall asleep in the car!
There is something for everyone.
- 7 themed zones
- 34 rides and attractions
- Game stands where we can try our luck
- Familiar Food and kiosks that are fun and affordable
- Musical & Entertainment Shows
So while the three kids and Nino ride the “BIG” rides, I can sit in the sun, listen to my music, and wait for them patiently.
I can do this while Gelli is comfortable in the air conditioned Kindermagic Center.

Gelli spent more than an hour in the Kindermagic Center. I loved that it was clean and ready for her!
EK provides accommodations for mothers who are breastfeeding.
This really means that they get it. Mommas have a cool, quiet, clean place to sit while nursing. Guys, there are still places here in the Philippines that are not fully ready nor accommodating for mommas who are breastfeeding. And this space is attached to the Kindermagic Center. Can you say perfection?
EK has a Magic Card.
This loyalty card allows guests to enjoy UNLIMITED ADMISSION for a bargain! Plus, Magic Card holders can avail of special benefits, valuable discounts and will also receive special invites to exclusive events too!
EK makes me love the Philippines even more.
Agila offers the FIRST flying movie theater experience in the country. Named after the Philippine Eagle, this simulated, multi-sensory flight soars over the most beautiful and breathtaking destinations of our country, totally biting me with a bit of the “travel bug.”
Here are some of the destinations that you can look forward to in this virtual adventure:
- Tinuy-an Falls
- Chocolate Hills
- Mayon Volcano
- Banaue Rice Terraces
- Loboc River
- Basco Lighthouse
- Ilocos Sand Dunes
Not only did we all thoroughly enjoy the flight, we also enjoyed the browsing in the gift shop after the ride showcasing Proudly Pinoy products that we could take home!
Even the gift shop has locally made products that are not only cute but very useful. I had a hard time putting this eagle back!
