I love being crafty.
I love being crafty with friends even more. This is why #Crafternoons are so much fun for me. I get to chit chat with other mommies who are like me. We enjoy creating things with our hands in the company of other women. My friend Maricel, offered her class on how to make Felt Owls to a few of us in Maja’s Home Cafe one afternoon.
We started out by receiving our name tags and our kit.
Our crafternoon with Maricel came with a drink and dessert of choice from Maja’s.

Both projects came complete with patterns and step by step instructions that Maricel walked us through.

It’s a good thing that Maricel was there to help every now and again. I kept getting all tangled in my sewing. We were even given an opportunity to practice the stitches we would need to use before getting into the crafting. Perfect for a first timer like me.

Everyone that attended took home a cell phone pouch and an owl bag hang. CUTE! Pictured from left to right: Me 🙂 Karin, Lara and Neema, Phianh and Ramon, Maricel, Pat of MrsPCuyugan.com and Terry.
