My big kids have often shown me just how much they love their little sister. These gestures can be seen every day…no matter whether they are big or small…they always make me super proud and even a bit emotional.
Gia wrote this poem a while back for a school assignment. I asked her if I could publish it here and she happily agreed. Thanks Babe!
I have a sister, named Gellibean
In our home, she reigns supreme
To me, she is a little queen
She’s not like any other you’ve ever seen
Her kisses and hugs are o so sweet
She smells so good, good enough to eat
She’s even got the cutest feet
I tell you this without conceit
My favorite time of the day
Is when it is our time to play
I cannot wait till I hear her say
I love you Gia, come what may
My wish for you, my sister dear
To face the world without any fear
To live your life full of love and cheer
And you for to remember I’m always here
Tears in my eyes.Gia you are a beautiful and kind sister.Gelli, you are a lucky little girl because you are so loved
I think they are both lucky to have each other 🙂

Thanks Papa. I will show Gia your comment 🙂 We all miss you so much.
awww thats so sweet
awww i love this. its so good to see the love between siblings. it’s such a special bond.
It truly is. Seeing the kids together (when they are getting along) just makes me all warm inside. I know you have the same moments with David and Noah. It’s when we feel our cup overflows…Our siblings are our longest relationships we will have in our lives.
They love one another because you have shown them caring, attentiveness to all their needs; you are always there for them. Children follow the footsteps of how they were raised! You are a great person, daughter, wife and mother! You and Nino have raised them well! Love you and all my grandchildren! More power to you! Gia I am so very proud of you!
Thanks Mom. You are too kind with your words. If what you say is true…then it’s also all because of you. You taught me. I teach them. LOVE YOU.
Hermie always says what is the right thing to living a great life, and she started it all.God bless our family.
Aw!!! Thanks Aunt Ellie for stopping by! I’m so glad you took the time to read Gia’s poem. AND you are right…Mom started it all by showing us love and care in her own ways. She is a shining example of a mother who has done so much for all of her children.
