Gelli loves tubby time.
Come to think of it, ALL my kids still LOVE tubby time. If given the choice-bubble bath or quick shower…which one would you choose?
Even when Gelli was an infant, we enjoyed the quiet time we would have together when I would give her a relaxing bath, complete with Andre Boccelli playing in the background. Lactacyd was part of that bath routine. It was gentle and light, and easy to find because it is available in drug stores and grocery stores too. After her bath, I enjoy giving Gelli her massage and getting her ready for nap or even for bedtime at night. Lactacyd Baby Bath was good for her as an infant because it can be used as both a soap AND a shampoo and has mild baby friendly ingredients so you can use it every day. Most especially, it has the ingredients of Lactoserum and Lactic Acid which also helps with minor skin irritations and infections.

Lactacyd is safe and easy to use when bathing your baby. It smells fresh and is used by many hospitals as the soap of choice for a baby’s first bath.
What I didn’t know is that when Gelli turned one year old, is that we should have switched over to Toddlertubs. Consistent with the Lactacyd Baby Bath which we were using before, Toddlertubs is hypoallergenic, has Lactoserum and Lactic acid, just like the baby bath, but it comes in two different scents. Toddlertubs also has extra moisturizers and a thicker consistency, which is nice when you are bathing a wriggly toddler. Lactacyd recently launched their Anti-Amoy Pawis campaign which arms your toddler with a longer lasting sweet scent but is still hypoallergenic and gentle to your child’s skin. Now that summer is almost upon us, switching over to Lactacyd toddler wash might actually be a good idea! As a gift to my readers I will be raffling off three gift packs like this one that Lactacyd shared with me. It comes in a cute little zippered pouch and not only has ToddlerTubs and Baby Bath, but it also has feminine wash and wipes for mommy as well.

Hi Yen!
Pretend play is so important for our toddlers! Bath time is a great time opportunity for teaching too!
Thanks for stopping by! Good luck 🙂
my baby bella, loves singing and sometimes playing with her rubber ball while bathing!
Hi Sherry Ann!
Singing in the bath (and the shower) is big in our home too!
Gelli loves bath toys as well. I try and clean the bath toys once a week by soaking in a capful of bleach. Then I rinse off and store in a mesh net so that they can dry. This prevents them from molding.
Good luck!
my daughter, who is 5 months old loves her bath time. She kicks and splashes all the time! 🙂

Bath time is so important in setting the routine for having fun, and staying healthy!
Good Luck!
My toddler loves going into the timba (bucket) to soak for a little while just before we dry up! She can’t move around anymore since she’s big but still insists to climb in each and every time!:)
Thanks Rocel!
Isn’t it amazing how when the are small they still like to squeeze themselves into small spaces too?
Good Luck!
she loves singing and jumping
Hi Rica!
Thanks for stopping by! The only thing I would be careful of is jumping in the shower or in the bathtub!
Good luck!
Both kids love splashing water while bathing. They enjoy it more when I end up soaked. 🙂
Hi Wella!
I know exactly what you are talking about! Gelli loves splish splashing too!!
Good Luck!
My son looks forward to bath time always. He never forgets to ask that his toy boat be brought with him during bath time. He also just started to ask for soap and apply it on himself.
Hi Theresa,
I love it when the kids know the routine already. And if that routine happens to include a toy or two-that’s fine by me. Even better that you are teaching him to be independent to wash himself!
Good Luck!
Anxela loves bath time. Now that she is 3, she loves to sing her favorite pop tunes! Let it go, let it go!
Hey Gin,
That song is on repeat in our house! I love hearing Anxela sing too!!
Good luck!
My baby Xandrea Cayenne, loves playing with her rubber duck and balls while bathing!

Isn’t it wonderful how much fun we can make bath time? It even better when we know we are doing something great for our children by using bath products which are safe and can help their skin.
Good Luck!

Hi Michelle
My daughter is 2years old and 6months.. During her bath time gusto nya na puno ng bubbles ung tub nya at ayaw nya na pinapatay ung faucet. Hay sayang talaga ang water.. Thanks for stopping by Sena.
Who doesn’t love bubbles? Even I love bubbles in the bath 🙂 You can justify the amount of water you feel you are wasting by all the learning that takes place in the bath tub. It’s really a wonderful time for the little ones.
Good Luck!
Hi Michelle,
My son who is turning 3 yrs old at the end of the month love the shower so much..
While holding the shower he will say.. Mom raining ha? Ulan? 🙂
Hi Yhie!
Thanks for stopping by! Shower time is even more fun when the kids use their imagination! Would you believe that I have let my kids shower in the rain when it’s not so cold? That’s a different kind of fun all together!!
Good Luck!

Hey Jeffrey,
Gelli has that very same toothbrush! We stick it on the mirror for her after she’s done brushing too!
Good Luck!
My daughter loves her bathtime. We put her in a batya and she always feels like she’s swimming while bathing!
Hi Erin!
Thanks for stopping by. If the batya is big enough and baby girl is small enough…she just might be able to swim!! ha ha ha ha ha!!
Good Luck!
My child loves to play with her bath toys in a tub filled with warm water! She also loves the brushy brush brush time (the song of Elmo)!
Hi Sheena.
Agree. Bath water shouldn’t be too hot or too cold…warm is best. You are less likely to dry your baby’s skin out and of course we don’t want her to catch a cold!
Good Luck!
My daughter loves bath time especially when she’s in the bath tub while she’s playing with her rubber duckies! It was so fun to watch her enjoying her self.
Hi Esperanza,
I used to sing the rubbery duckie song to all my kids while they were in the tub. I grew up listening to Ernie sing it on Sesame Street 🙂
Good Luck!
We love bath time! It is one of our bonding time with my daughters.
