Mommy Mundo is at it again.
The momma behind Mommy Mundo, Janice Villanueva, is always looking for new ways to help, share, and inspire other mommas. Many times, she does this by bringing together momprenuers for the many events that she plans through out the year. Examples of these events are Expo Kid, Expo Mom, and Pregnancy Pause, just to name a few. This year, just in time for Expo Mom, she has come up with yet another way to inspire moms with their very own #MomManifesto.
Actually, this #MomManifesto is something that I feel like I have discussed with so many of my momma friends. It’s a topic I have broached in my yoga practice, in Better Me sessions, and in heart to hearts with friends, that I have had out of frustration with my children. I call it trying my best to be a Mindful Momma. It’s living in the moment. Rolling with the punches. Staying true to my values, and remembering why I asked to be blessed with children from The Big Guy Up Above. It’s about being grateful. Knowing my limitations as well as my strengths, and taking a few minutes every day FOR MYSELF. It’s about seeing the bigger picture, not getting bogged down with the details and about being KIND.
This is something I am getting better at. I’m kinder, more forgiving, and less judgemental…and can I tell you a SECRET?
I love how the universe conspires to bring me exactly what I need at exactly the right time…
This weekend I was invited to be part of another campaign that empowers women as well…it’s called the #WeAreBraver campaign and was launched by Writer’s Block and 2nd Avenue. Because I spent the day with these really inspiring women, I walked out of the conference mindful of what it was that I wanted to achieve, not only as a momma…but as a woman, too!
And then, just the other day, Janice invites me to this brunch, to kick off Mommy Mundo’s upcoming Expo Mom, share the Kindness Campaign 2015, and indulge us in some #HealthierYou bites at Slice on High Street.

I’ll tell you more about The Kindness Campaign in another post, but for now, I would like you to take advantage of the online workshops that Mommy Mundo is offering FOR FREE. All you have to do is commit to this self examination and exploration by downloading the worksheets compiled by Janice and Michele Alignay every Friday.
Fill these worksheets out on your own…in the quiet and convenience of your own home. Do this by yourself…when you have a minute and work through your answers…you guessed it…MINDFULLY…
You can find the worksheets and print them out for your Mommy Mundo #MomManifesto here:
http://expomom.com/mommanifesto/
You can share your questions, answers, and “a-ha moments” on social media and tag #MomManifesto to take part in the collective.
And then look for the newly published worksheets on these dates:
Then…if you plan on going to Expo Mom next month…you can share your #MomManifesto with others, on the Mommy Mundo #MomManifesto Wall.
