With all the recent excitement of the National Museum of Natural History re-opening, Nino and I decided to take the kids to the National Museum just a couple of weeks before.
We were thinking about what we could do to treat the kids out to a nice day and enjoy everyone in an activity that would bond us, and provide for some fun learning opportunities as well.
I’m so glad that Nino thought of this as one of the things we could do for the kids this summer.
In fact, we are planning for one last summer hurrah before the boys go back to school.
We super loved this afternoon spent with the kiddos. It was a great bonding experience for the six of us, and a wonderful opportunity to talk about our national artists with the kids. It certainly helped that Nino studied art history in college because he also provided insight that both the kids and I had not previously understood.
What are some of the things that you enjoyed doing this summer?
SO happy you made time to do this!
