There are lots of things we like to DO TOGETHER as a family.
We like to watch movies TOGETHER.
We like to road trip TOGETHER.
We like to ride bikes TOGETHER.
We like to cook up some goodness in the kitchen TOGETHER.
Which means, we like to EAT what we cook (or even go out to eat) TOGETHER.
Heck, we even play and compete with one another on different apps on our electronic devices too.
Back in June, Oreo invited some of the SoMoms to a private screening for Transformers 4 Age of Extinction. We love the whole series of Transformers, despite the reviews that many people were giving this sequel to the robotic action packed movies, we were all still looking forward to an action packed night.
The kids were looking forward to this movie treat the entire week, and I was looking forward to the night off from cooking and some fun with the kids. Nino couldn’t join us because he had some other things to take care of, but we promised him we would have enough fun for all of us. I don’t think Gellibean is ready for a movie yet, (especially one that is so loud) so she stayed home with Dad. We grabbed a quick dinner and headed over to Resorts World for the special OREO screening!

Of course Diego is so super excited to play the Lab Grab Game now that he knows we can win a vacation for the family. Download the app for FREE. There are different activities to complete within each SET. When you complete an activity, you also have the opportunity to take pictures which you can turn into a Memory Book that can be printed later. After you complete each set, you earn a BADGE, and the more badges you earn the more likely you are to win different Oreo prizes. Doing things TOGETHER doesn’t always have to be something extraordinary, in fact most of the time, it’s the mundane moments that we will remember even after the kids have grown up and gone off to college. (Those are the moments, that I have heard we miss the most.) Something as simple as having cookies and milk together after school with my kids is an exercise I value whether I bake the cookies or not.
