Tessa of Florence Fling and Ann of Caravela both enjoyed each of their fashion businesses respectively.
The idea came to them that perhaps they could put together a small event showcasing their own products and those products of some of their friends with new businesses to bring more awareness to the local brands available here.
While each of them fill the needs of fashion or home furnishings and decor they realized that the discerning shopper likes many options available to them not just for dressing in both classic and affordable ways but also for decorating their homes with locally made furnishings and accessories.
Thus was the birth of Par8de, the small mindfully curated trunk show where 12 vendors first came together that has now grown to over 40 vendors for their upcoming shopping extravaganza to take place at the end of September.
Tessa shared how after the success of their first trunk show was shared on social media, that a flurry of inquiries came in from small businesses just starting up, desiring more exposure.
Now, some of those same vendors have signed on for the third round of Par8de but in this case each time they participate in this carefully curated event, they debut new products.
Tessa goes on to share, “We challenge our event partners to come up with something new, that the market has not seen, to offer our shoppers a completely new experience.”
This year’s event has expanded to even include men’s fashion, more free workshops, and even story time to keep the children occupied while mom shops.
If you would like to take advantage of the deals and steals available to everyone on September 28 and 29th please be sure to visit One Rockwell East Tower anytime from 11am till 8pm.
