Serene Home - Momma 'N Manila

I have this friend Seanta. Besides being a friend, she is also a co-parent, and she is an entrepreneur who enjoys doing lots of different things the way so many of my momma friends do too. Last year, she came up with a home fragrance line called Serene Home, and I want to tell you all about it.

Let me paint the picture for you as my friend Seanta did during the intimate launch for some ladies here in Designer Blooms.

We had such a wonderful time making our own gift boxes for our homes. Confession: I opened up everything as soon as I got home and distributed all the items to their proper places…

“Imagine you will invite some friends into your home to have dinner. Before they arrive, you will clean up the house, and put things away, so that your entertaining area is free from clutter. You will set the table, and go food shopping to prepare a meal. You’ll create a play list that is suitable for the occasion and for the guests you will be entertaining. When they arrive in your home, you will have a feast for the senses that will welcome them into your space.”

She goes on further to say, “Your guests will see the effort you put together in setting the table and cleaning up the house. Your guests will feel welcomed into your space, and they will taste the food you lovingly prepared. But with our home line they will also delight in the fresh scents that waft through the air with Serene Home.”

Even Seanta agrees, foaming hand soap makes kids wash their hands well!!

A feast for the senses?

Yes, please.

I have always said that when you are entertaining at home it’s the little things and the attention to detail that can make your guests feel welcomed and comfortable.

I love all the scents Seanta had developed but I think my favorite is Tropical Bamboo.

Serene Home was birthed out of Seanta’s desire to provide quality products with affordable pricing. She even recalls the Christmases passed, when she would receive room diffusers and would enjoy tucking them in the nooks and crannies of her home. When she realized that there were cheaper versions out there, she tried them, but was disappointed with the quality saying that it just wasn’t what she thought it could be.

Hence, her desire to create home scents in October 2017 started her little business that has now grown to a brand that is carried by Beauty MNL.

Will be looking forward to these. I use candles often in the house.

@heyjude.art gave us a quick tutorial on how to use calligraphy to express our creativity. I just as quickly decided this was not relaxing nor creative for me. I would rather cook something up in the kitchen.

This was such a fun morning learning about Calligraphy, packing our own gift boxes, and catching up with the ladies.

Even if I couldn’t write my own tag, I was lucky that @heyjude.art was there to not only teach us how to (TRY) and write in calligraphy, but also fill my card in when I couldn’t do it myself.
