Nino is a sneaker head. He’s been one for a long time now, but his preference recently shifted from Nike to Adidas. (as did mine)
All I hear from him and the kids lately when it comes to shoes, is UltraBoosts and NMD’s.
In June, we went to Hong Kong for a quick trip with the kids and we even visited the famous sneaker street in Hong Kong called Fa Yuen. Everyone had so much fun.
So, come to think of it, all my kids are sneaker heads.
And, admittedly, I have a new fondness for them as well.
That’s why we went to check out this new place on Maginhawa Street that specializes in selling hard to find sneakers and burgers.
We didn’t get to eat because we just came from an awesome breakfast at Single Origin in Rockwell, but we got to hang out, chat with the owner, and the chef, AND pick up my new kicks that Nino got me for my birthday.
They have everything from hard to find Adidas NMD’s, to Stan Smiths, Jordans, and the elusive Yeezys.
Truth be told, I don’t get as excited as Nino and the kids, but I cannot deny the comfort and feel of my Adidas Ultra Boosts.
This pair that I mentioned to Nino in passing were my new favs, and he did everything to make sure that I had them in my shoe closet for my birthday month.
Stella McCartney + Adidas Ultra Boosts = LOVE.
And in black! By the way, New Yorkers ALL love BLACK gear, in case you didn’t know.
