I first met Lady during a photo shoot in The Viking Range Showroom.
As the Viking Ambassador, here in the Philippines, I was asked to come up with some simple recipes to share for the Good Housekeeping June issue 2015. It was a great Back to School issue that featured 5 Bento Box lunches that I typically pack for my kiddos here at home. Lady was the food stylist for that shoot.
Not long after our first meeting, I asked Lady if she and her sister Steph, were available to style for me for other events. Sabrina Go and I had put together a series of events for Viking, showcasing all the capabilities of superior kitchen equipment for even the most novice of home cooks.

Together, we prepped the Viking Showroom for Mothers Who Brunch to dazzle our mom blogger friends, all the while, showing them just how easy it can be to cook and entertain at home.
Since then we have all become friends, I have seen Lady and Steph rock it out on so many different occasions with their styling and their business Boqueria Lifestyle Market. I love working with them because they can take the pegs we send them and are able to execute the look with a twist that they can call their own.

But now, they are stepping off into a new direction…it still revolves around good food, and better yet…good coffee.We all know everyone loves a good cup of coffee.
When Lady and Steph opened up The Coffee Room, they invited some foodie friends to come and try out what they were offering. It was a really busy weekend for me, but I made the most of my time by visiting their new place of business with my best girl.
I always try and make time to spend with each of my kids individually. It’s easy for me to bring Gia along to outings like this because she enjoys spending the time with me, snapping photos with the new camera, and of course trying out new foodie finds.

Homemade Ginger Ale is perfect for those visitors who don’t enjoy coffee as much. Gia loved this. (I did too.) It was light, refreshing, and not too sweet.
WHISK Spinach and Artichoke Dip served with toasted matchsticks held me over while we were all snapping away.

Their menu is simple and affordable with sandwiches, salads, and snacks. And the lighting is great for Instagrammers because one whole wall is a floor to ceiling window!
Sweets like this Affogato are perfect for my girl. She paired this with a savory Grilled Cheese Sandwich…salty, sweet, salty, sweet…

The thing about visiting a new joint with all your instagram friends? They help you style your shot, and even wait patiently while you make sure you “get it” to eat their grilled chicken sandwich.

We even got to take home some cold pressed juices. I think they offer this to visitors as well…made fresh while you wait…
