Perfect timing for such a cool invitation! Gelli has been drinking from a sippee cup for almost 6 months and we couldn’t wait to try this one from Avent!
About a month ago, my friend Janice invited me to a special luncheon hosted by Philips Avent for their Trusted Moms. I was excited at the opportunity to attend such an exclusive event because I knew many of the other mommy bloggers through Twitter, Instagram and their blogs. More importantly, I have been a faithful Avent product user since Gia was just a bump and a due date. So, you can imagine my excitement to see the new All Natural Line from Avent!
Over 14+ years ago, my husband and I were armed with a scanning gun to create a registry in Babies R’ Us just in time for the arrival of our baby girl. We chose Avent bottles and were sure to include different nipples that she would need as she grew up. I liked the design of the Avent bottles even back then because it was streamlined and clean. Truth be told, I also liked the fact that part of my new last name was printed on my chosen bottles for my baby! (AVENTajado!)

No one had seen the New Natural Line before our luncheon so all of the mommas were excited to to see them up close. We shared our memorable experiences through breastfeeding which was not only heartwarming but a little funny. I’ve always had positive experiences when together with a collective of mommas because we learn so much from one another and in sharing our stories, we can even find inspiration.

Maricel Laxa Pangilinan was there to share some of her story as well. As brand ambassador she mentioned quite a few times how much her Philips Avent Monitor has saved her time and given her the freedom to leave her baby girl in her crib to sleep without worry. I loved how comfortable she was in her motherhood and sharing of herself with us. It, in turn, lent an intimacy to the event for the 11 chosen mommas and chosen poppa that was both uplifting and geniune.

The New Comfort Breast Pump is lightweight, compact and looks easy to use. I can’t wait to try it out.
After lunch we were able to check out the new pumps, cups and bottles. They were all familiar to those of us who have used these products before but it was clear that were some changes in design making everything more organic and natural.
Philips Avent will continue to host events all around the country to introduce their new and improved Natural Line to the public. I was so sad when I missed the most recent event here at SM South Mall due to another adventure, (look for that post later about pushing to your edge.) but I was able to score some pictures for you to see how much fun it was!
