If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably noticed a change slightly in my feed. I have been adding a lot more healthier posts for Nino by way of breakfast trays that I prepare for him on most mornings.
Vitamix Philippines
I say most mornings because, although I have been quite busy lately, I have been able to leave some instructions for the helpers to prepare breakfast when I am called out of the house early for work or Best Buddies activities.
The biggest change in our household diet was that I became much more consistent with our breakfasts. Starting with a smoothie bowl in the morning is a great way to get a ton of vitamins and nutrients in a way that’s fresh, fun, and easy to change up so it won’t get boring.
Dare I say, that Nino had begun to enjoy and look forward to the different variations that I throw together with the help of my new Vitamix Blender.
Truth: I have wanted to add a Vitamix to my kitchen for years. I just felt it was never a justified investment.
That is, until I asked for the no obligation free home demonstration.
Another Truth: Even before I had the demonstration, I already knew I seriously had to consider this investment because our nutritionist, Bex Lwin had shared how much she uses her vitamix. She uses it anywhere from 4-5 times a day.
But then that demo though…
Marie had come to the house and shown me quite a few things that the Vitamix was capable of.
This appliance is the real deal guys!
She made vegan ice cream for us. She made bell pepper soup. She made a green smoothie. And Nino, Gia, and myself were sold. I couldn’t wait to get my own Vitamix so that I could begin to make healthier dishes and decisions for our family.
Flash forward to the present: We have had our Vitamix now for a little more than two months, and both my husband and I have shed a few pounds with the healthier dishes we are able to prepare in a jiffy.
And because I am always looking to learn new things, when Terry Tantoco-Dy invited me to a little workshop Vitamix Philippines was hosting with Kristine Crouch at Abenson in BGC, I asked my best girl if she would like to tag along and make a day of it.
In fact, because my parents have been avid Vitamix users ever since, I asked them if they would like to join us. They were so happy that they came!
Kristine taught us a bunch of quick and easy recipes that I will definitely make at home. Gia and I were having such a good time at the workshop, we were already planning what we were going to be making today for lunch.
Confession: I had poke bowls on the brain after trying Kristine’s peanut salad dressing.
I can totally imagine the fun I’m going to have when making salads once I add the spiralizer to our kitchen counter…
Can you imagine the possibilities???
