Watch Beauty and the Beast with Gellibean

My girls BOTH love Beauty and The Beast.

Gia loved it when she was much younger, and now that the new movie which was released earlier this year, with Emma Watson, Gelli is included in the new generation of Beauty and The Beast lovers.

Of course, we know that no matter the generation, there are many reasons for us to love the Disney Princesses.

We also know that our love for the princesses and heroines that have been portrayed in these animated movies have come a long way since Snow White. (That’s for a different post.)

One thing I love about these Disney princess stories is the way many of them have become the shows that translate into stage performances. How lucky are we that there have been so many different Disney classics that have delighted live audiences all over the world.

And truth be told, Beauty and The Beast is just ONE of our favorites.

But, from now until December 14th, Repertory Theater for Young Audiences will be staging Beauty and The Beast at The Onstage Theater in Greenbelt One for audiences of all ages to enjoy as a family!

“The classic story of a repulsive Beast who inhabits a strange and magical castle, and of the beautiful girl who is caught in the castle whose innocence and sympathetic affection for the Beast breaks a wicked spell and releases a handsome prince!“

Repertory Philippines has been entertaining audiences for 50 years with performances that are fitting for date night, a night out with the girls, and of course like Beauty and The Beast, perfect for family bonding time.

Tickets are available through www.ticketworld.com.ph and range in price from less than P700 to less than P500. Plus, if you have an RCBC credit card, you can receive an extra 20% off.

I’ve always wanted to watch a play with the kids, but never had a chance to. I’m glad Repertory PH did Beauty and the Beast because we all loved the Disney versions of the movie. It would be a great bonding activity for our family.

My daughter has been asking if we can watch the play, because she loved the movie!! Well, especially Lumiere, Cogsworth, and Chip! She loved the Be Our Guest part the most, and it would be great to see that part of the movie come to real life!

We are still figuring out and solidifying our morn We are still figuring out and solidifying our morning routines as we send some of the kids off to school and log on with some of the kids to zoom.

Some days we are super early and some days we are chasing time. The beauty in this, is that while we are figuring things out, we are working with the kids to assess and adjust as we go along. It’s a great lesson on going with the flow.

How about you guys?
