Wow. The folks over at Enchanted Kingdom have incredible timing. The last time we were invited to come and check out this Filipino Family Favorite Theme Park, it was Diego’s birthday weekend.
This time it was my 45th birthday weekend and after visiting with the kids at De La Salle Zobel for their monthly activity, this was the perfect way to spend some quality family time together creating memories that will last a lifetime.
We had the whole family together after everyone’s Saturday activities of sports and projects, so it was truly a blessing to have all my kids together (and Gia’s boyfriend) for some fun family bonding.
Of course, when we arrived, the kids all had their lists of attractions they wanted to visit. And because I knew there were a few new places I wanted to visit as well, I made sure to tick them off my list, one by one.

Visiting the Magnolia Flavorhouse was one of our first stops because for some reason, I feel like it’s summer already!
Special guests were all in attendance to open this time honored tradition of ICE CREAM!!!
Magnolia Ice Cream Shop has just opened its doors to the ice cream shop of yesteryear…
So many people who were visiting while we were there were saying, “It’s just like when we were kids!”

Celebrating 23 year of EK happiness with 23 SCOOPS of Magnolia Ice Cream was the perfect way for us to start off our visit with the EK family!
Since I didn’t grow up here, I don’t have the comparison, BUT, I thought it was nostalgic and reminiscent of the quintessential ice cream parlors that everyone has seen through tv and films.
That wasn’t the only fun snack that we enjoyed during our visit last Saturday! We also enjoyed our favorite soft preztels by way of Auntie Anne’s!
Auntie Anne’s new partnership with EK will now satisfy pretzel lover cravings for people like me.
Seriously, is there anything better than eating a pretzel at the theme park?
Ok, maybe cotton candy…hehehehe
One of the things that I love about Enchanted Kingdom is the fact that they pride themselves in really being a home grown Pinoy theme park that caters to all kinds of families.
It doesn’t matter if your kids are bigger and like to ride the roller coasters, or if you kiddos are even smaller than Gelli, there is something for everyone.
Remember how I was talking about theme park food?
Pizza by Shakeys and Mojos is a family favorite that makes it to our table during big celebrations and Friday nights when I don’t feel like cooking.
This new BIGGER addition to EK will make it super easy to figure out where to eat when we are visiting with a big group!
Dontchya think?
There are a couple of other new food joints that have opened up as well!
From Wings to Burritos and so more than pizza and pretzels, there will be affordable choices for families who have more than one type of FOOD THEME PARK craving that needs to be satisfied while checking out the attractions for both young and old.
What else can you expect when you visit this October?
Maphista’s Jam is a musical dance party that happens every Saturday and Sunday at the Brooklyn Place at three and six in the afternoon. The kids will really enjoy the entertaining dance and singing numbers that the EK Book Characters will provide as fun for the whole family.
Animal Encounters are back in Boulderville at 2pm, 3:30pm, and 5pm every Saturday and Sunday too!
Also on Saturday and Sunday, the singing sensations of Victoria’s Way and the Kingsmen will be performing at 4pm, 5pm, respectively. Then at 7:15pm they join forces and perform for twice the fun at the Bandstand!
You know what was even more more amazing than all of the attractions and the time with family and friends?
The amazing display of Fireworks that we enjoyed because of the Pyrotechnic Competition!
This fantastic show set to music is the prelude to the SKY WIZARDRY fireworks display will take place every Saturday and Sunday at the Spaceport at 8pm.

Tita Cynthia celebrating with 23 scoops of Ice Cream at the Magnolia Ice Cream Shop for the 23 years that they have been creating Family Memories for Filipinos…
Now, because Tita Cynthia knows that kids are ALWAYS learning, EK is now in their second year of the partnership with the Department of Education in providing more meaningful experiences AND learning opportunities for kids of all ages.
This partnership allows kids to further their understanding through EKSplora Kits and the physics behind the rides and by setting up different kiosks in conjunction with the Philippine Science and Technology digital library.
All of these amazing initiatives, new attractions, new food options, and additions in the weekend entertainment just added another facet to the fun we know we always have at one of our favorite family friendly places to visit, here in the south.
Thanks for having #TeamGellibean over!!
Happy 23rd Anniversary!!!
We’ll be seeing you again soon 🙂
