Yahoo! Yabu is opening in ATC!

I have a few favorite places that I enjoy eating in when I have the “day off” from cooking.

One of these places is Yabu.

I love so much about our visits to this crispy Katsu place. I love that my kids get excited to go. Whenever they hear about the plans to eat at Yabu, they don’t need reminding to get dressed or to brush their teeth. In fact, sometimes, they are the ones rushing us to get ready to leave.

I love the tutorial that comes along with eating at Yabu for the first time. The servers walk you through how to enjoy their crispy tender yummy Katsu complete with the grinding of the toasted sesame seeds and the rich Katsu sauce.

I love that they opened a branch here in “the south.” Their first branch opened in SM Southmall awhile back. BUT GUESS WHAT? We now can have YUMMY Katsu ANYTIME!!

Just yesterday we were invited to the tasting/stress test here in ALABANG TOWN CENTER! I suppose I didn’t get the memo that we were supposed to really try something new, instead of ordering our regular dishes that we are used to. (I’m a creature of habit when it comes to ordering in most restaurants.)

Another thing I love about YABU? They have kids’ meals, and for my kids-they are perfect. We order for them, they clear their plates and everyone is happy. Miggy is like me. He orders the same dish every time so he is very much like a creature of habit in that sense. Diego and Gia are always willing to try something new, so if Miggy and I are curious they are always willing to share a bite.

    So happy Yabu is opening in Town coz it gets crazy crowded in Southmall. Love their Katsudon and Lorubota Tonkatsu Set.

    Since I don’t eat pork I LOVE that they have both seafood and chicken, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out when we eat at Yabu ☺️SOOO happy they’re in ATC!!

    This is the first authentic katsu in the Philippines. The idea there is to make katsu like a hamburger, make it as popular as a hamburger. And that has been the response so far. People are lining up to try the first authentic katsu,

    I like the curry katsu, kurobota, and seafood katsu sets! I especially love the oysters dipped in their spicy mustard, and of course, the bottomless cabbage salad! We usually dine at Megamall branch. 🙂

    my favorite is hire and seafood katsu set….which includes ulam such as hire, black tiger prawn, creamy dory, scallop and brown rice with sesame seeds… so love yabu so much…

    been there only once, I ordered their Kurobuta Premium Set and loved it, I also love the shredded cabbage that comes with the set. I would definitely love to go back and try other set!
